Today....popped the 33-12.50-15 BFG mud off the beads on the fronty A star alloys, as they kept going down....then applied loads of bead sealer, and re inflated and then balanced em up...took a fair amount of weights to get em right...the worst one wanting 300grames on the inside and 250 on the outside...hit my fingers loads of times putting the weights on...the tyres are real awkward to get round to get the weights on when they are on the balancer...
Tyres now stay inflated which is good and they sit quite nice on the mere 7j fronty alleys...the sidewalls nicely protected as the tyre pulls round well...
Might drop the pressure on long road runs down to 20-25ish psi to give a flatter tyre profile so it doesnt kill the tyre centre tread...

Also took sals saab turbo ragtop for its MOT....and it passed!!!
Will give a celebratory thrash 2moz...tis fun 220ish bhp 8) and vx vectra floorpan

The 2.8lwb is booked in for its test wednesday...need to sort the front wheel bearings and the "bird and plane spotting" headlight...I am kinda a bit more apprehensive about this one passing..... :oh yer: Washed it today...so the tester doesnt get half a ton of mud from the woods fall on him!!! Nice I am, he's gotta pass it now! 8)
Check out the index thread below where pics/reviews from all our past meets can be found!!!!
click here for the SE Events Index/links Thread...see all the reviews and whats coming up soon!

Looks like I'm in trouble with the Mrs's again...
She asked me what I'd most like to do to her body...
Apparently "Identify it" is not the correct answer!

Finally got around to replacing my exhaust center pipe. Sheard a couple of bolts, had to cut the bolts off the rear/ tail pipe section. But all good, thanks to the bottom of my tool box and the odds and sods tin of bolts.

thats another one off the MOT to do list, only 5 more to do..

Never did a think to my truck today, but I pinched some paving slabs from Andy then pinched his trailer and Furballs car to take them to my house and laid them in the garden for the shed base, got back to Andys and as Andy was fettling his suspension I got on to changing Furballs glow plugs and stripping down a hub ....but thats another story, flipping ebay eh Chris

However the big result of the day is shown in the picture on Andys truck

MOT on monday,(they couldnt fit it in on friday :( ).
Booked in for 11 am,
Jobs to do still :
1.Waterpump Gasket (sprung a leek this morning, thats what you get for reusing the old gasket with gasket sealer  )
2.yet another hose pipe has given up the ghost. :(
3. Exhaust has started to blow (found a small hole just by the join, will gob it up with exhaust paste just before it goes in  )
4.belly pan to be refitted.

Looks like an early start for me in the morning

Gave it a good clean inside and out (made the scratches and dents even more visible now )
If it aint broken, you havent tried hard enough

Took her for her MOT today.
She failed :( 1. side repeater not working,2. n/s rear shock bush,3. sharp egde on bonnet,4. hand brake not quite up to scratch and 5. front number plate is obscured by the A-frame.
Hopefully retest this after noon :D

And I bet that the X5 owner doesn't own the tools to replace it themselves, so it's going to cost them a whole load more.
