Im looking for a FREE program to DOWNLOAD - that converts AVI files and other files to files that can be burnt to DVD
and played on my cheepy dvd player - ive seen a few but they only TRIAL VERSIONS
any help with such program much appreciated guys

converting files ?Evening all
Im looking for a FREE program to DOWNLOAD - that converts AVI files and other files to files that can be burnt to DVD and played on my cheepy dvd player - ive seen a few but they only TRIAL VERSIONS any help with such program much appreciated guys

There are others out there, Il have to have a look through my bookmarks. Most modern DVD players support avi. files encoded with Xvid or Divx and generally anything encoded in MPEG4 format. Last edited by Sir-Doris on Fri Mar 12, 2010 2:59 am, edited 1 time in total.

Re: converting files ?nero burning rom does what it says its a burning program thats all you want win avi or convert x both easy to use and both burn to disc after conversion

Re: converting files ?ive got an original nero disc hanging around somewhere,it will be an older version so not sure if it would work with vista or windows 7,but if your using xp it should be fine,i will dig it out for you.
edit / sorry found it but its a trial version of nero 8 ![]()
