Now time for :drink:
For what it's worth it was worth all the while
It's something unpredictable but in the end is right

Would they be like Torx bits with a little stub in the centre? If so they are security bits and a pair of Molegrips work well. I couldnt find any large enough that didnt come in a very expensive set with a hundred other bits I didnt want.

Replaced the coolant expansion tank. After 15 years (had hairline cracks in it when I got the truck 7 years ago) its finally started leaking. Not much but it was weeping coolant when the temp rose.

10 minutes later and a wee bit of fresh coolant and all hunky dory again.

Also since sorting out my intermittent engine management issue and cleaning the combustion chambers I seem to be enjoying reduced fuel consumption :D :D :D
