Just joinedHi all, I've just joined the group and had a quick look round the forum which looks pretty good.
Just bought a 3 door 2.0 swb petrol fronty (1993) don't exactly know why as I live in town but seemed a good idea at the time. I am getting used to it and begining to enjoy the quirks of driving a 4x4. The only thing is, there is no where round these parts of Suffolk I can go off road, or is there?.
Re: Just joinedWelcome bud
There is more going on around you than you think, meets and laning meets going on quite regularly just look at the "area specific" threads. Ramsgate, Kent

Re: Just joinedWelcome,
For off roading, there's Bures Pit on the Essex/Suffolk border http://www.bures-pit.co.uk, but it does tend to be over run with Landy's who's owners think their motors are the nuts, won't help others who are not in a Landy, and will basically put you and your Fronty down, at every chance, but apart from that it's not too bad a place, but it's gone down hill lately in the quality of the site stakes http://www.wildtracksltd.co.uk/ is in Newmarket. Never been there, but I'm told it is more intended as one of those 4x4 experience sites, rather than a pay and play, but they do do pay and play days. Apart from that, if you want to make the journey one day we have a lot going on in the south east region. Have a look that part of the forum if yuo may be interested. Depending whereabouts in Suffolk you are, I'm looking to do a laning day in a few months, which will be around east Herts, and west Essex. Unfortunatley your particular area doesn't seem to have much going on at the moment, but there are plenty of members in Suffolk and Norfolk. Might be worth trying a post to organise a day out yourself, as there was some interest when the last one was mentioned done last year viewtopic.php?f=44&t=24767&p=278770&hilit=+norfolk#p278770 Traffic lights in London are just rough guidelines
