Not realy just like to give taxi drivers somthing to think about when they think they got right of way cos they can go faster, makes em stop bloomin quick i tell ya!!!!

I would like to upgrade the alternator at some point, fuddy has done his. Im gonna ask him where he got it!

decided to take the side steps of,,,ok they looked good but the plastic coating was all coming away,,,so decided there coming off,,,took them of and they were totally foooked only the plastic coating was holding them together,,,,what a crap after market accessorie,,,,,,,,,,,,,18 deg and sunshine here today,,,,,,,yes,,,,

i got to grips with my inlet manifold and common chamber, (gaskets)

so i took the common chamber of, to find this,




the gasket


the under side of the common chamber


then these pesky little 10mm bolts, what a royal pain, you need to get these of, or the manifold wont lift,
they hold the fuel line in place


oh these are located here

can any one tell me what this is, located under the manifold.

today we stuck the FOG stickers I got off Tom on the li'll white leafer and chevybravafing....
so everyone down ere will know what they look like should they want to get some themselves to cover stratches and dents!!

also I replaced the inner tube in the dumper tyre that had its valve damaged on a tree stump at the last picnic...

fixed the cb aerial on the chevy, which kept falling down...

tweaked the torsion bars on the chevy so it now sits level at the front again...

emptied 3 carrier bags of rubbish out of the chevy and li'll white leafer!!!

Jump started the chevy...its got a starting problem at the mo...not sure if its the battery/leads/connections...but it starts ok when its warmed up, and when cold with a jump, so it will do for 2moz and then I'll sort it proper!

Looked at the 2.8 lwb's new alternator....and then put it back in its box again....couldnt be a4sed today as it was cold and wet!!!

Emptied out and cleaned the company astra as its going on monday....getting a van from work instead, which should save me nearly £200 a month in tax and private mileage fuel getting to work!!!
Hated it anyway...dont ever buy an astra 1.7td ecoflex anyone...they suck!!

Did nothing as got caught out and had to go to Liverpool, wanted to get the new alternator tensioner fitted morning squeel is doing my noggin in, looks like next week then

New leaf springs and shocks on the back of the 2.4. Can't beleive after all this time, milner springs still need the lug that seats into the axle grinding down. They have been told loads of times by members on here about it and have not amended it
