Went up the woods with matt in the li'll write leafer to kill a couple of hours... Made a new trail up the hill and some new bits on the bomb hole I found yesterday... Broke the numberplate light cover on the white leafer, when reversing through some foliage (small trees!)... Blew a fuel line off the engine....must have been the return as engine kept running and then proceeded to irrigate the woods with a good 5 gallons of unleaded!! Lucky it didnt catch fire...we kept smelling petrol, but figured it was the chainsaws in the back of the car... Refitted fuel line and jobs a goodun...albeit a pain in the dark, and the only screwdriver I had for the jubbley clip was the stihl chainsaw plugspanner one...which was really awkward to get in....morale...2moz check the rest of the fuel lines and stick some tools in the car!! Then back to petrol station for more petrol on the way back home!

Not too much today. Just changed the engine out for one that doesn't have a mesh sump. Cheers Dan

Well I spent an hour bolting up the LSD, not got springs in or brakes on yet, but part way there. Getting trailing arms and top arm on at same time is a royal PITA its all about getting the axle at the right angle as well as lined up front/rear and left/right.
Done now anyhoo.

Not what I did today as it's only just before 6 in the morning and it's raining....but yesterday.
replaced noisy waterpump, with a loverly new un along with new timing belt & tensioner.
Lost my marks for the timing....Doh! went on FOG used search facility and bingo found what I was looking for....Hour later all timed up...happy me
Due to some berk previously having a go at replacing it in the past, two of the allen bolts that hold the pump in were pretty rounded off. So the radiator had to come out, so it got a good clean up and a good flushing (amazing how much crud gets caught behind the oil radiator (or is it the power steering rad? not sure)
while I was rooting around in the shed, found a new air filter that I bought when I first got her so I fitted that.
now sweary mary sound like she runs on petrol rather than a bunch of mice in a big wheel playing with nuts and bolts in cooking pots.
intended on taking piccies for a proper write up but phone went flat and SWMBO took the other camera to wigan. couldn't charge phone as truck is the phone charger since the normal one broke

A big day for me yesterday the Fronty went in for a MOT . This is the first time its had a MOT since I got the car, after failing on a couple of items [CV Boot, 2 Rear Bulbs and adjust a Wheel Bearing]. It passed on the next attempt . So I can now sleep at night as I had to use my other halfs car, a old type Mini. Any more than 20 minutes driving in that gives me a back ache So nice to have the Fronty again .......
My Fronty thinks its a grown-up Tonka Toy [how sad is that] ? Concorde with Frontera View Here In the interests of the environment, this posting was constructed entirely from recycled electrons.

Havent quite gotten round to it yet but I will. The exhaust fell off the car today Well... My own fault really as a crack has been forming for the last few months and Iv just been patching it with exhaust paste. So once I clear a bit of space in the garage Il pull it out and fit that flexi section Iv had sitting around for the last couple of months.
I also drink Port and I'm not ashamed to say it! Me Truck
