Made a start on fitting the remote central locking. Well... I fitted the solenoid to the drivers door

I managed to do a few job when the good lady went out.
Fitted new pipes from both diffs up to the top of the snorkel.
Changed the air feed pipe for the compressor.
Refitted the air filter box and snorkel joining pipe after resealing all joints.
Forgot to turn on the oven for lunch.
Never tidied up before the inlaws arrived.
Not allowed out for the rest of the day.

Yesterday I de-horsed the front carpet section (how the previous owner got a horse in the front is beyond me - it's only a SWB ). I also hammered and bent the rear lip carpet retaining strip back into shape, buzzed all the rust off it and repainted it. Looks a lot better now

Also tried to fix the b*&^%y fuse that keeps blowing - tried cleaning up the earth point in the rear light with some wet and dry and thought i had fixed it, but blew again. Gonna get some crimp connectors on the way home and try sorting it properly.... Joy....

Oh, and begun the WD40-spray-daily-countdown to fixing the missing drop link

well this afternoot i fitted my internal snorkel



using tube like this

while i was on i sealed the hole in the bottom of air cleaner and sealed the lid on too

Fitted the new (to me) radiator that I got from wilberforce

Removed the nudge bar ready for new bullbar and gave it to wilberforce as a trade for the rad


Fitted new reversing camera

Not alot, just cleared out some rubbish the kids had left in there. Took Mrs H for a drive to various places she had to go.


Saw Krushers truck Friday, and then it did look Red, and very clean.












Now where did i leave my glasses!

Made a Volvo dog gaurd fit infront of the top half of my tailgate, so the hound can get some fresh air without legging it down the A40!

Finally got that darn rear crank seal fitted,
only got as far as re-fitting fly wheel, clutch, gearbox, and starter motor along with the electrical bits.Then it was time for tea and Still to do propshafts, gear sticks, slave cylinder and the under plates.

If I ever have to do this job again, I'm not doing it on the drive. (that g'box is freeking heavy and there's not alot of room underthere, would have been easier to lift the engine out)
