Fitted rear exhaust box to the BBB last night - damn those little bolts that fix it to the chassis rail.

I hosed out all that welsh mud from my rad and oil cooler, topped up the lost oil and put some oil seal conditioner in.

Fingers crossed it will stop the crankshaft seal leaking.

Got underneath mine to assess the damage from bala and guess what i found??????? NOTHING   even my oil leak has stopped (yes there is a sump full) my gearbox is fine transfer box... fine ..... exhaust ......fine...... Diffs..... Fine... just covered in mud and grass from front to back gonna try and pop the seal for the steering box back in and got a pair of front half shafts coming (freebie) other than that the truck sustained no damage at all which is a miracle considering what i put it through and the shackles i got off Mr Weave proved their worth as they are still in top condition.

had a woman come and look at my truck was going to use it for the school run. i described it as used and abused and that the interior was probably not that decent. she said no thought it would be ok

Bolted the panel that is spot welded to the bulkhead that the clutch pedal attaches to good and proper this time. I used washers and everything.

I did it once before but it was a temporary job and the titchy bolt I used pulled through the metal. Clutch action is smooth as the proverbial babies behind and the annoying creak has gone. The old girl selects all gears with ease now and feels like she has a proper gearbox at last.

Just have the rear diff cover to re-seal (this will be the 3rd time in a year now), get the rear window replaced and wheelarch trim and a new tyre and she will be as good as new.

:D :D :D
I also drink Port and I'm not ashamed to say it!
