I did it....

Took the tools out and hid behind the blue one, made my approach from the rear unseen (favourite approach). 17mm socket, extension, breaker in hand. Slipped under her rear and went at the captives for the body.
It worked, she was unprepared and all 6 were cracked without a breaker amongst them

I hope to get the body lifted this week, then the axle the weekend. If I do the forklift work at work and leave the handbrake bits off till I get home will it be ok to drive? Can then sit on me drive while I do the fiddly stuff, its only half a mile from one to other.

p.s. may take up the technical assistance at that point if anyones free.

If I'm free and you need a photographer to document the process, you have my number.

Ooo, Alex, have you found a locking wheel nut key on your drive (tri-lock) - I seem to have mislaid it.

1 - Cut down the bull bars to A-frame type.
2 - Washed it!
Sounds boring?
It was the first time some parts have seen hot water in 13 months.
Just need to find the t-cut now to remove all the scratches from laning days

well i sprayed the underside of my engine with "gunk" degreaser today in a bid to find where my oil leak is coming from.

The whole underside is soaked in oil, i thought it was the front crank seal but although there is some black crud there, it isn't wet or fresh.

I'm going to renew the rocker cover gasket as a matter of course anyway and re seal the bolt on plate. Got an MOT sometime around the 30th and could do with it not dribbling on the tester.

I've also noticed a hole in the sill below the rear passenger door. So far i've been told "it's not structural it won't fail the mot" and "it will fail the MOT and needs to be plated"

Will post a pic up tomorrow and get a general opinion, either way i know it'll need to be plated, holes in metal is never a good thing, unless it's a cheese grater!

Especially near a seat belt mount or a body mount, both around there.

It does mate, will want a plate as its too big for welding up. If you do a real nice job and paint over it, filler may be your friend. Just make sure you give both sides a treat of paint or it will be obvious and the tester may get Mr.magnet out and rumble you.
