Found the reason most of my engine oil had mysteriously vanished, the oil filter had started to undo itself and weep oil. Ended up getting one of those special filter socket wrenches to give it a tweak. Got a ball joint squeaking somwhere so will have to sort that at some point.

I found that out early on in 2.8 ownership Jim

Today I ordered a new tyre, got a good deal £78 for a Maxiss Buckshot Mudder delivered, coz I ripped the side wall in the other on a lane at the weekend
Some good news though it might be able to be repaired as it never burst or cut all the way through the carcass, Lee's dad is going to check it out, so Ill now have a spare

Removed the spare wheel carrier , much tidier now ( one of the bolts was cross threaded , off to Halfords for some rubber grommet/bungs , anyone know what size before I buy a selection pack ? )

Well I had a very successful trawl around our "local" scrappy. Got a brand new fog light, CTS, gauge sender, 2x speedo sensors and speedo gear plus a couple of little bits of trim for a paltry £25 :D
It's one of those nice yards that let ya clamber all over the vehicles too

Fitted the fog light and now I'm gonna have to clean the other one to match so might as well do the whole car :?
If you're sat there thinking things just can't get any worse, just wait......

Late posting :oh yer: YESTERDAY,I did a mini fuel consumption test Telford to Barking return average was 33.7 mpg.

The main purpose was to collect a roof rack from FRONTY 4X4 for a mate`s van, what a nice man (& he makes a great cuppa ) had a good chat & looked at his Honda 90 it is seriously nice, anyone wanting one will go a very long way to better this one .

Darren, will drop your ratchet strap off next time I come over your way. :D Cheers bud

Intreting fuel consumption figures there A friend Image. Mine is the SWB 2.2 DTI and I think the fuel consumption is very similar to yours.

I have a feeling that the Turbo might not be giving Full Boost, not sure though, it would be nice to be able to compare the Engine Performance and Pulling Power to that of anouther Frontera................ Image

But so far very pleased with the car, its the first Fronty I have owned .................. :)
My Fronty thinks its a grown-up Tonka Toy [how sad is that] ?
