Thats the sorta thing I was thinking of doing to my gear tunnel thingy dave, but not having a welder and more importantly not being able to weld I was going to use some brass sheet, silicone sealer and a pop rivet gun to achieve the same thing.
I also drink Port and I'm not ashamed to say it!

There is NO law in this land that says you CANT use Amber Strobe light. If so, someone want to explain how ..........

recovery trucks, utility companies, highway maintainance, bin men, tractors, etc etc use them.

I know of several members on this site, me included, who have these items fitted to our trucks, I've also used mine on several occassions when I have been using the truck to recover someone.

can only show white to the front unless your pulling wideload

Apart from indicators, which on UK registered cars must be amber, it is illegal to show anything but a white light to the front and red to the rear, with the exception of reversing lights.

The coloured side light bulbs you can buy always state, albeit in small print, that they are not intended for use on the road.

personaly i think you can put what you like on it but i dont make the laws just passing info on

Are the Pro-Comp eyes on the shocks smaller then the standard shocks? I may have some bushes roaming around. Failing that Dave from Llama 4x4 stocks the Rough Country bushes which I think are the same as the Pro-Comps.

Took the chevy/brava/isuzu thing up the workshop to get some tyres for it, as the ones on its new alloys are really borderline!
Found six 265x70x16 dunlop at2's with loads of tread on some rangey wheels I had knocking around.
Should look a bit chunkier than the 235 75 16's that are on it now, until its gets lifted proper and gets some monsters!!
Fetched em back home and will change them up the farm tommorow night.

Found out that I over filled the oil on it the other day...and the previously leaking rocker gasket has "rustproofed"the engine bay impressively.
Tappets are a bit noisy on its isuzu 2.8td so can feel a spot of adustment and a new gasket coming on at the weekend.

Changed the starter motor on the surf today...bitch job...thank goodness I had bodylifted it previously as without I reckon it would be nearly impossible to get to the top starter bolt...all good now!
Check out the index thread below where pics/reviews from all our past meets can be found!!!!
click here for the SE Events Index/links Thread...see all the reviews and whats coming up soon!

Looks like I'm in trouble with the Mrs's again...
She asked me what I'd most like to do to her body...
Apparently "Identify it" is not the correct answer!
