John has a standard fronty and was doing fine, better than the surf's in places, the odd rut had the diff's skimming and there are a couple of water holes to either avoid or except getting stuck in. It is looking like I may have to work all that weekend, but being a localish site to us aranging days there shouldn't be a prob.

hi all baldhu is a wicked site
here is a multi map
http://www.multimap.com/maps/#t=l&map=5 ... 4:-4.75848

easiest to say meet up at matalans carpark

if u wanna go have a look before
go past matalans, carry on towards chacewater go past the garden centre
u will come to a cross road turn left then take ur first left again then follow that road for about 2 miles and u will see a sign for WHEEL JANE pointing to go right ON YOUR LEFT is a byway turn down and follow for 200 yrds u will see two metal containers its in there £10 for the day
fill in ur name and address and away u go hope that helps but i will be there when u decide to go so i can show the way if needed

hers two of me getting stuck down there ( i was told not to try as they are hard for smaller trucks to get through )

the photo looks like the big water hole in the woods?
Standard Fronty bottoms out there....balancing on diff/belly plate.....I know!!
Even lifted Surfs get stuck in there and need rescuing.
Cant picture the video.....but the big hole is the only place I got stuck and now avoid.

If you go A38, you got serious road works @ Dobwalls.....you're then best to go St Austell-Truro-Treliske/Chverton Cross.
If you take the A30, its straight through to Chiverton Cross, turn left @ roundabout and next right to Chasewater, follow directions from albeano.

When Ive been with the Surfs, we normally meet @ Chiverton services and make a convoy from there.

And yes that looks like the place Carl

was just thinking that the A38 is a more direct route from ours ...
from home ...then out on to A38 ...then onto the then onto the A30 at Bodmin
then turn off at Three Burrows (A390) ...and hopefully find it from there :?

any idea what time we're meeting
