Hi there,

The weekenders (as all meets) are primarily a social gathering and are normally family orientated.
We have regulars who do not off road their cars (except for the bit of grass/mud into the woods which to be fair can be done in most larger cars without any problem).
Your more that welcome to to come and join us.
As a "complete newbie" you may want to just park your Fronty and take a ride with one of the more experienced members, rather than drive your own car round at first. In fact there will be members waiting to give you a lift (we like to show off  ).

Once you've been round the site, if you want to take your own car, then again we have people who can sit in the passenger seat and help you get to grips with your car and advise what it can and can't do, and sow you how to get them wheels up in the air and back on the ground safely.

Like I said, these meets are predominately social so don't feel that if your turn up you have to go off road.

My personal recommendation is drop Gregster a PM with you phone number and he'll give you a call. That way he can ask any questions you may have, and hopefully we'll see you over the weekend.

Hi jamez2 and welcome....
There is loads you can do with a standard car up the woods, my li'll white leafer is standard with the addition of a set of mud tyres which help if its not dry and that goes everywhere, but admittedly it isnt my daily driver so I am not too careful...

Would be great if you could join us, best thing to start is to grab a lift with some of the other guys and see whats what, and get a feel for the place...
We can show the bits to try and the bits to avoid to start with and give you some pointers to get you safely started in off-road driving if you have never done it before...
A few tips with your car though.....
10mm socket and remove the mudflaps...sooner than them getting ripped off and damaging the body...you can always refit them later...
Move towing electrics out of the way (easiest way is to put behind just one bolt of the towbar so they point up at 45 degrees out of the way.
Check fluids and levels before hand....
Securely stow anything in the back...

If you havent got your new fronty in time, you are still more than welcome to come down and join in...you will still have a blinding day...

Look fowards to meeting you
