Sad to announce, the Hound Dog clan will not be in attendance this weekend as Phil's a wee bit poorly at the moment.
Still, ought to be a decent turn out with everyone else.

Its firm, but moist enough for the muds to bite in nicely.... but with a liberal coating of damp leaves to add another dimension...

Something thats wierd...is that this has been the driest year since 1976 and nearly every meet this year has been wet...with a monsoon at the august weekender...

This should be a nice dry one though, with muchos traction and everything do-able! 8) 8) 8) 8)

Houston, we have a problem

Holly went in and failer her MOT on Tuesday on brake and bearing related things, and as I found out on Wednesday when I woke up, a totally seized rear brake caliper and carrier.
Well, found and ordered the bits from a breaker for a reasonable price and we both hoped it'd be with my mechanic ready to fit by this morning. Job done, I thought, until I rang the mechanic this afternoon to find that everything is done except the caliper hasnae arrived yet. Spoke to the breaker, there's been a cockup with shipping and it's only gone out today  (Second cockup like that of late, ordered tickets for the football tomorrow as a birthday pressie for Dad, and they got sent to the wrong Mr. Greenaway - thankfully he's not opened them, hehe)

So, fingers crossed for tomorrow morning, else le Wilberforce will be up the proverbial creek without a paddle.
My fault for leaving things 'til the last minute I guess.
