each model has its own little nuances , ive only ever owned a 2.2 petrol and i am quite happy with it ( head gasket changing ,is now a piece of cake) . im sure everyone will recommend every different model to you so you will be none the wiser. the thing to remember is that they all fix -with help off here, quite cheaply

Hiya Simon, welcome to FOG.

Hopefully you find us fun and helpful, we do try
Anyhow, there's a range of different engine and model combos, everyone's got their favourite, so have a pole around, give us an idea of budget ad requirements, we'll try to sort you out.

Where in the SE are you, incidentally?

Many thanks all for the welcome, Im from London (east) not the posh part, and me budget for a frontera would be up to about £3,000 depending on model/ condition etc, I got a Zafira at the moment on a 2000 plate 1600, been a good motor tbh, Just felt time for a change upwards I hope,
