Hi guys,

I was registered on here a while ago.. so not really a new member.. but!

had to sell the old fronty drove a dodgy french derv burner for a year and missed my fronty to much i got me a'nuvver' one!

Names Dave,

I now live in St Albans (previously Stevenage) and i drive a lovely beaten up L reg Blue 2.0 sport every day to hitchin and back down the B656 (sometimes coming off just past the scrap yard for some laning fun on the way home!

Currently the Fronty needs some love, welding the rear arches, several electrical gremlins, brakes, wheel bearing and exhaust.... and i would love to get the heater to blow out hot air for more than a day!

Looking forward to meeting some of you guys this time around as i didn't last time... I'm a bad man for that and i hang my head in shame!

I thought you guys might like a little up date on my Fronty.

Went away for a short break in cornwall with the Fronty, front brakes seized before hand so new pads and free'd them up. 2 days down here and the battery gives up the ghost. 3 days down here and the alternator decides to spit out it's bearings ( un-related i think) taking out the fan belt and leaving the middle of Lostwithiel in a huge plume of blue rubbery smoke and bleeding ear drums!

lovely people at the local garage lent me there tools and ordered in a alternator... pulley half inch to close to the body.. send it away.. replacement arrives.. still wrong! spade terminal instead of the bolt on for the feed in.... .... bodged and now fitted.. probably to low on the amp front but i will sort that later!

oh.. and now the o/s/f wheel bearing has gone south ( cause by heat build up from the seized brakes burning out the grease?) Either way.. I'm loving old Frontera ownership again! i think.. infact.. i think i'll have another
