Was a mechanic for 10 year before leaving the trade 8 year ago but served my time in a Vauxhall garage and had a short time in France working on Renault before returning to the same Vauxhall Garage.
Had my first B series which was 1999 V reg 2.2RS sport I got it when it was a year old and had it a year and fell in love with it,but had to sell it due to cash flow problems at the time. I was never a big fan of the A series as when I worked in the garage anyone that bought one was never away from the garage with problems, but they did improve as the years went on
I've never really stopped working on Cars or bikes always had a project kicking about or work needing done on family cars.
I saved a 2.2 sport from the scrap yard a few months ago and done a lot of work to it and then got ofered another black 2.2rs the exact same as the one I used to own with a blown head gasket so my brother bought my first one and I picked up the RS and got it on the road in the last couple of weeks and i'm really happy to have myself another Frontera. Been looking out for another one with engine damage or MOT fail as another project hoping to pick up a decent V6 estate at some point
