i at the mo dont have frontera, but after driving norse's i may have to get one when i have the spair cash.

i was lead onto her by norse as i have been helping him and will be making some of the mods for his one that he is planning. since i am a welder/fabricator by trade i am capable of making nearly anything from metal. which is good, and me welding skill is up to a very high standered.

i will leave it at this for now.

Like he said though, he is going to be helping me make some of the mods for my fronty, the design/idea of which will be posted on here for others to offer advice/tips/buy them (was worth a try )

Bull bars, side steps, rock sliders, S/S exhausts. The list is not endless; but it is long.
Any welding advice welcome.
My welding looks like a pile of pigeon poo but seems to hold things together but I'm welding farm stuff with a cheapo stick welder and it is really thick metal.
Burn it in there and hope for the best.

and Frenchfarmer what rods are you trying to burn. as i would suggest a 6013 (for general mild steel) and if you are using a transformer biased set on 230v i would recommend using a 2.4mm max. so you will have to do more runs, but it will weld better and look better as well. and the other tip is make sure it is clean ish (remove any rust or paint etc if you can).
