Hello everyone :D
My name is Craig, aka: Craigo,
I'm a newbee here. Just to give a quick comment about how I heard of this site:
Last year I bought Grester's Hilux off him and got chatting about the site, Then when having a spare mo..or 2... (which turned into about 2 hours! lol) went for a schmooze-ee-o about and found it to be really good. Hence why i am now here :D So thumbs up guys. Also when collecting a 'spare wheel cover' for my converted 'Trustyfronty' had another convo about the site with a happy person named 'Tony' a fronty owner (thanks for the cover Tony) and thus concludes how I heard of this site.

I think Google had something to do with it.
I was looking for an alternative to Land Rover's.
Don't like their cramped driving position and price.
I would prefer a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.
Seek not excess, God hates he who roams !

Opened my fronty one day to find an inch of water in the driver footwell.

Google search - FOG

All I can say is thank god this site exists without it I would be getting ripped off by a mechanic.

New member here found the site via Bing when searching for Frontera forums, just doing my homework before buying a Frontera B 2.2 petrol sport. Recently had a Sportrak, prior to that a Vitara. Currently got a Vectra 2.2 diesel, Ldv Campervan and a 1991 Volvo 940, 2 of which will have to go according to SWMBO (a fearsome creature she is too so I had better heed her words).

Anyway when I find the right vehicle for us I will post some pics.

Hallo everyone.
I found this site throug Google when we where looking for a car in Portugal. I was looking for littel bigger car for my wife sins she feel a littel unsafe with all the smal cars that drives like they were stolen down here. She wanted a car that would get as she put it: The right of way. The solution was a big black 96 Frontera with a bullbar and siderails that she found out would be bigg and "bruut" enough to wressel all the littel "speedbumpcars" that was flying around. It needs a littel TLC to be in mint conditione, but thats halfe the fun with having a car.
I am not used to work on diesel engines, this is actually my first diesel, but have don a lot of work on Jeep`s with gasoline engines so I think it will be a "walk in the park" fiksing it up.
There is a lot of nice tips and god advice in here so after a few houers with reading i have learnd a lot already.
Regards Stian.
If everything else fails, use a bigger hammer.

I found the site via Google, i was searching for info on Fronteras before i bought mine.
I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.

My wife and I were looking for a 4X4 to tow our caravan especially in winter, (had a bad tiime on a caravan site with teh car, needless to say teh farmer who owned the field probably didnt want it ploughed at that time of year( Didnt stay to find out either!)) Anyway we saw a '99 Frontera Sport SWB (2.2 Petrol), I was looking for info on them and came across FOG. Ideal!! We got the Frontera the other day and we are very pleased with it.
