New Member!Hi all,
Just joined & hopefully I'm picking up a 'T' reg Sport oil burner on Monday! I've only seen pictures but it looks good, its just had a replacement auto box fitted (well, within the last few months) I'm just wondering what to expect, I want something to tow our caravan (at the moment I'm running a Chevrolet Astro day van for towing & its returning around 13/15 MPG so I hope the Frontera will do better than that! We live in Bristol where I work with WW2 aircraft. Hope to see some of you when I'm out & about. Cheers Geoff (warbird)

Re: New Member!welcome mate.
WW2 aircraft? that must be great fun and hard work. do you fly them? if you do that really must be exciting. your new purchase will give you a better mpg my 2ltr sport gives me just about 25 mpg (when I drive her properly, could get nearer to 30mpg on motorways) there is a thread somewhere about people's mpg The greatest lesson in life is to know that even us idiots are right sometimes

Re: New Member!Hi and Welcome to the Club!
Roo.. A series sports came in 2.5 and 2.8 disiesel form when they introduced coil springs.
Re: New Member! Its a 2.2 DTi & auto! & I'm really liking it, the only thing I need to do is find out where I check the transmission oil so I'm going to look in the manual! (if all else fails, look in the manual)
It tows the caravan really well too! Cheers Geoff Speedbird, I asume that that aircraft behind your Frontera is our old Concorde? now at Brooklands. It was kept for many years in the hangar next to ours (which has now been knocked down) minus the tail fin.
