I have owned three Fronteras in the past two LWB and a Sport. All a couple of years old when purchase no more than 20,000 on the clock, kept them for a few years, traded them in for another model, loved them all. Then somewhere along the track I lost my way, swapped the Fronty for an Estate car, because we moved to Scotland and it was more economical. Then decided we needed a 4WD and ended up paying a small fortune for a Honda CRV, which was OK. Then when that started getting long in tooth went back to an estate car.
Anyway on Saturday we got a 2000 W Reg 2.2 DTI Limited Auto Frontera. Drove it home with a big grin on my face

I forgot how much I loved my Fronteras. We do not really go heavy off roading, just forestry fireroads, and the odd farmtrack when visiting friends, however it swallows the wife and two kids + 3 dogs with ease, purrs along, and is sooooo much fun to drive.
The car seems fine (touch wood) so far, I have identified that there may be an intermittent fault with the mileometer display, not serious yet, and thanks to this forum, now know the steps to be taken should it ever become so. I have also rectified the airbag display light problem, again thanks to this forum.
Thanks guys, I feel like I am home
