I'm Chris and am the owner of a dark green 1997 R reg LWB 2.5. Very impressed so far. Went to Devils Pit last week and was very pleased with its off road capabilities. Still seem to be dropping the mud everywhere even though its been washed 3 times now to try and clean it! Nice man in a Range Rover was pleasently supprised too (especially as we were on standard road tyres). There was a newer silver LWB and a SWB who seemed to be having a whale of a time in the really muddy bits.
Just got back from a 400 mile round trip to Devon with the family. Very comfortable although there is a bit of play in the steering which made the A303's twists a little interesting
. About to order a haynes manual to see if it can be tightened up any.I have slight starting problem, but that seems that she is only limping on 2 glow plugs, so a new set should be arriving tomorrow to sort that.
Off out now to change the oil and we should be good for many more miles.
