Hi Everyone, I have had my Frontera for a couple of years now and have had no bother with it until the last couple of months. Yes the dash clocks are dead. No speed, revs, fuel or temp. I have read the thread on soldering the board and intend on contacting an auto electrician about this as I am not good at that sort of thing.
Its been great to hear that I may not have to spend a fortune on a new set of clocks. If anyone has any further advise on this fault or the best place to take it to in the vaguely Redcar area. I would be very grateful

Hi, thanks for the reply's. I tried the side lights yesterday but have not yet tried the trip counter, so I will give it a go later on.

Hi, just thought i would drop a line to say that contacted an auto electrician and convinced him to look at the site to see what everyone had to say about the dash fault. He took my clocks away and soldered according to the instructions with the photos etc. When he brought it back it worked purfectly for three days .... then had a bizarre on/off working/notworking kind of thing. I can now prompt my clocks to work by flicking the sidelights on and off, which i better than nothing, so i am happy enough. Thanks for the advice Amanda
