Thanks for the welcome and the link, very handy and a job for a rainy weekend.
A question on the fuel consumption, does 430 miles to a full tank sound right?
The other question is about the turbo, I have a Fiat coupe turbo car and when the boost comes in on that you really feel it as you can imagine as it is a sporty little petrol car, but I don't feel much from the frontera. I feel it on the pedal from 2-3k but after that nothing really.
Should you have an obvious pull from that little turbo on a 2.2tdi?

fuel consumption sounds about right
turbo ....don't forget your frontera is quite a bit heavier than a Fiat coupe 
the turbo kick-in is around the 2-3k mark
