Afternoon all, not quite an owner yet, deliberating upon either a lwb tds or a lwb 2.4i Diamond, both on an "L" plate and both with same mileage (92k) Which one would be better? Hmm choices, choices lol

Must admit, the diamond is looking good, dark blue with cream leather, little bit cracked on the leather, pretty certain a good clean and feed would put it right, Monday is decision day, going to be a bit different to my Laguna methinks

Hello again you helpful lot, thanks for the advice so far, both Fronteras have fallen through for various reasons (one was registered as stolen ) the other had serious damage to the chassis, looking at another 2.4 LWB '95 "N" at the weekend, only faults I've been told are, iffy boot lock, opens from inside but not outside, squeak from the front when turning right (?) and mileage is 150k and unknown cam belt history, what sort of job is it to change or is best left to someone else? Thanks for all the help.

Good news...the 2.4 is driven by a timing chain, which in theory should last the lifespan of the lump..
