sorry my faultafter using fob to unlock car get in the put key in ignition nothing happens only when i press large botton on fob to lock doors and press again to unlock then ignition can proceed? the fob has 4 buttons on 1 large[forward and three smaller buttons in a row behind large button.also if anyone can advise car when the car starts it sometimes just stops and when i go to restart it just turns over without fireing up have noticed fuel leaking from a pipe connector to a filter[ i think] on the left side of the inlet manifold havernt checked anything else at the moment, as a matter of course ive ordered a new fuel relay, but it does take awhile to start up only had it a couple of days whole family loves the fronterra, i am an aviation eng by trade. just trying to find the most logical way to solve the problem, thanks for your time
I have a clifford set up on my cavalier, and i'm wondering if your alarm is set to auto immobilize after a certain number of seconds...
Mine does that, so that if you unlock the car you can get in and start it no problem, but after 15 seconds the alarm will activate the immobilizer again. Then you either lock / unlock the car, or turn the ignition on, and press the lock / unlock button once, and the car wil start... Sound right?? Or am I barking up the wrong tree here, hehe.. Jim...
