New member? Not really just returning to the fold!

A Place to introduce yourself and say hello! - Please do not post questions here. If you are unsure of where to post a question, please post it in the General section and one of the FOG staff will move it to the correct place

Back on here after a two / three year break. I now only have the one Fronty. 2003 Black 2.2DTi. Now with 107000 miles and just got its first fail MOT! Only a track rod end so thats fixed!
I have some advisaries which I need to sort. You guys might be able to help. The biggest one is the rear cross member... It doesnt really exist and the cables back there are holding each other up! Does anybody know whre I can get a replacement or can I make one? How hard is it to get to to fix... I have the welder and material available if I have to fabricate something.
Other than that I have to change rear anti roll bar bushes and some brake pipes before its next MOT so I have a bit of time! :drink: :drink:

Welcome back :D

Missing cross member doesn't sound good, if you can fab one then shouldn't be a problem or see if you can get a good one cut out of a breaker
Soon to be without a Frontera after 10 years of owning one :-(

Crazy MOT man put it as an advisary but its "not considered structural" The thing has just crumbled away under a very lightly poking finger! So the steel is knackered but if its not structutral why is it an advisary.... just to give me nightmares...

Good to be back and to see some of the how do you say this nicley? "old..er" people still going strong! :P
