Hello by Gamekeeper on Mon Apr 09, 2012 12:17 pm
Hello to everyone, I am new to Frontera ownership having had Jap Trucks before, but wanted something with a big load area for carrying a number of dogs and people during the shooting season and the frontera gives the space I need. I will be interested to see how the Frontera performs on the loose and muddy stuff, my previous Mitsibushi was brilliant but being short wheelbase didn't give me the room I needed. I used to be in the motor trade years ago(mechanic), so hopefully I will be able to keep on top of everything.

welcome to the mad house that is fog.

like drift said get some AT's on your wagon and go for a play you'll be more than happy as it will get you most places with no need for any modification and if your going a little more off piste then a 2"lift will solve most problems.

but be good to it and give a good service and it will do you proud

Hi and welcome to the madness, as said before a decent set of tyres and Vauxhalls finest will go places you would not believe.

I regularly do trips on Salisbury Plain with the Land Rover boys and always get "I thought you would struggle in the Frontera" comments but at the end of the day most of them are astounded by the off road ability.
I would prefer a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.
Seek not excess, God hates he who roams !
