A quick hello before the questions start. by Soupstone on Tue Jan 10, 2012 2:05 pm
Hello everyone,
Bought at auction last night on a whim, I'm now the proud owner of my first Frontera.

Problems and needed towed home about 8 miles later, I found the forum whilst searching for info.

I'm hoping to eventually run it on veg oil (twin tank setup) or more likely Biodiesel.

So a good read at some of the other threads, check a few things on the car then I may have a couple of questions lol.

Thanks for the welcome, I've looked at loads of the 2.2dti part of the forum and come to the conclusion that it's needing a crankshaft oil seal or a vacumn pump seal (oil leak RHS of engine close to the rear of engine around half way up near the head gasket) and the cooling system looked at.

Keith, I recognised your frontera right away from the pic in your signature as I pass it going to work.
