New owner in Cornwall

Which could mean an old owner is no longer.

I picked up a 1998 2.0L petrol Sport S today, liking it so far. Hopefully it'll last longer than my Delica, killed that towing my boat. Gonna try towing the caravan next week to how well it does it. Only bought the caravan recently, getting to old for tents and Glastonbury toilets

My names Mark and I dive for a living. Used to DJ around Cornwall for 27 years also worked in builders merchants for 23 years (at the same time as DJ'ing).

Anything else you nee to know?

welcome to the forum,your 2.0 sport should tow a caravan mine does ,the caravan is only a 2 berth but tows well and i dive aswell so any questions ask thier is always someone who knows the answer

Use to DJ myself, and have a dance production recording studio in one of the bedrooms at home (much to the annoyance of the "Boss")...

Ya fronty should tow your van fine mate, just remember dont use 4wd on dry grippy stuff or you risk breaking it

Hi and Welcome. I tow with my 2.0l regularly up to about 1.5 tons and it pulls well. Not quick and a wee bit juicy but never found a hill I can't get up

Hello mate. Welcome to the forum. Ive got the sport and tow a caravan amongst other trailers and found it to be a solid tow vehicle aswell as great off road.

Towed the caravan for the first time yesterday and back today. It towed well but did struggle on some of the steeper hills. Had the engine warning light come on when it struggled? May have to remove the bass speaker to give me some room in the rear.


It's all ready for Glastonbury.
