Hello all...

Mac from The Wirral here.

Just bought an S reg short wheel base jobbie in a kinda vivid 'flat' blue colour which reminded me of my Tonka Toy in the mid 70'2. It has 72 k on the clock with the last owner being a lady for the previous 7 years. Paid £1350 for it, which I'm sort of happy with.

I'm very new to 4 x 4 stuff although I had a 2 and a qaurter series 3 Landy in the mid eighties.

I know these can be thirsty beasts and have thrown up the 'odd issue', but better that than a sterile Japanese version eh?

I bought this because I ride and have done all my life, all the time, in all weathers, but you guessed it, I've decided to stop snow sledging on two wheels now and am looking forward to having any excuse to 'ride' my new winter bike.

I'll be picking it up next week..
