Frontera Technical Support

Hi all. Great site. Just bought my first frontera. It's in a garge on ramps already. Anybody know if the front stub axles from any other models will fit onto a 1999 Frontera B 2.2 RS Sport SWB. Don't really want to pay £590 and wait ten days for the part to come from Germany. :cry:

Welcome.

I'm not at all sure if the stub axle is common across the range, hang on a minute...

You should be able to use any "steering knuckle" from a B series Frontera, but there is a difference between those with ABS and thouse without - make sure you get the right one

The ones of an A series wont fit (different part numbers), even though the design changed during the A's lifetime.
