Help With 05 VAUXHALL FRONTERA 2.2 Sport Olympus

Hello all,

After owning a few Fronters over the years I only find this website now! I currently own a 05 2.2 Sport Olympus. The only problem with it is the lack of power low down in the rev range - its fine after 3000 odd it pulls strong almost to the rev limiter - but you have to rev it to keep it in that power band if you want to go quick.

The engine is 2.2ltr 16v I thought it would be more lively than that. I'm thinking of a induction kit/better exhaust/ecu chip/adjustable fuel regulator/larger injectors etc? Are any of these things available off the shelf to buy?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I offered £25 or 26 cant remember it was a good while ago and it was accepted

Ask for Ged say Ste Drift told you to call he may give a discount but I cant see it going much below £26 plus p+p

what Drift said, if you get it for £26 then you will be getting a good deal, some places will charge up to £60 for one (ask Halfords for a price and then point and laugh at the guy when he tells you how much he wants).

If you can't find one on e-bay then try going to here and click on the buy now button, it will take you to a page that will search for stockists nearby.

Just a little info about myself. I am a dry stone waller - I go off road every day as a necessity with my frontera. Sorry about the picture - I bounced of every branch of the ugly tree - but you can see my reliable frontera.
