i'm jonathan, i'm 27, and i like my new pearlescant paint-job
i've just recently bought a 1995 "special diamond edition (?)" 2.2 LWB and so far am loving it.
after a motorbike crash i decided i wanted a 4x4 to do off-roading. originally planned to get a little suzi SJ, but spotted this on autotrader.co.uk. went to see it and £800 later i was driving home with an enormous (slightly guilt-ridden) smile plastered over my face.
there's a few things need doing to it. i put new tyres on the back, it could do with a new off-side track rod... but other than that it seems pretty awesome. especially for the money!!!
obviously i had to put a new alpine stereo in it (i'm a sound engineer, low quality music makes me want to gnaw my own ears off), for which i had to slice up the inards of the dashboard a bit - you can't tell once the faschias went back on.
MPG was a bit of a shock.. 24 miles?! (bear in mind, my last vehicle was a 650cc motorbike that did 45-60 mpg)
the only rust on it was - weirdly - the small section of bumper just in front of the near-side wheel... is this common?
but other than that... amazing.
just need to sort it out a bit to go off roading, then the fun begins.
ADDITIONAL
ooh yeah, and last week i did a theatre show with 40 kids. i managed to get an entire lighting rig, projection rig, screens, half the props, 2 weeks worth of luggage and a young lady in the car. brilliant.

Are you ok after the bike crash? I've a Kawasaki ZX9R which provides the speed thrills in my life
