Yes, bit of a stomp ! I do enjoy the southern ridge though. New cafe was maxed out as well.....
Got to do Moel Siabod (what a scramble up the ridge) and Cadir Edris via the mynnford path finally !

My old mountaineering club has a hut and a cottage at the foot in Capel Curig, we had a FOG meet there a few years ago, there is even a green lane that goes up the side

Actually there is a bar at the top of snowdon, well cafe ! If its open and the trains are running that is !
The only steps on Snowdon are from near the cafe to the cairn on top, all of oh 2 meters ! Unless you`re coming up
the miners track that is......

I guess this event/activity did not happen (previous post was nigh on 3 years ago)
However, the reason for this post was to let you know that my sister walked to the summit and back yesterday - yes, in the snow and ice, with ice axes and crampons.
I've never known her attempt anything like this before, and was amazed to hear she was atempting it. Aparrently it was arranged as a 40th birthday/mid life crisis type of present by her fiends.
Anyway, I'm proud of my little sis (on the right)
