WOW, what a day. 1st lane we did was the so called B*****D lane. That just made the day.

Ste gave us the story about u lot n the mud n rain earlier on today Bernie..........sound like u all had fun though

He also worked out that the bit u was all stuck on was only about 50 feet long, so y'all must of been well stuck

We were a little more than a bit stuck But teamwork prevailed & am sure we all learnt some valuable lessons that night

We had a fantastic days laning yesterday, but I unfortunately split the side wall on my tyre at some point yesterday luckily the tyre stayed inflated so I didnt want to chance it today, will be ordering a new tyre later

No we did it the same way, I couldnt believe we drove across that stream ( the rocky bit ) in the dark without stopping , it was horrendous in the daylight, 4 inches one way and the car would have rolled.

The first group used waffle boards and a rail sleeper to get down it, our group opted for staking a few rocks at the bottom of the drop and gritting our teeth, have to say, I did made it without anything under the car other than the tyres hitting the deck was well chuffed.
A lot of the mud seems to have washed away, seemed less claustrophobic in daylight to.

The first group did some great balancing acts on the sleeper though

Well I'm back.

Superb weekend, as ever the company was top draw and the lanes 1st class. Piccies great, wait till you see the ones I took of Weave with his camera

Bernie, like Steve said, I was flabbergasted at the length where we got stuck, was just a tiny bit of the lane. Hasnt lost any charm though

Hope to do the last ones from Sat on a nice day, the views must be cracking.

Absolutely cracking 3 days laning, but the cold got to me over the two nights, lost sleep and was very tired - sorry if I was a bit miserable. I have had a nap now though, so will sort through the photos and post a few in a bit. Also got a bit of video to sort through.

Those pics we took certainly dont do the stream crossing any justice do they. It was damn good fun though. Thanx to Alex for givin Dan & me a chance to leed a group, it was really enjoyable actually. Just put a bid in on a pin 570 on the bay. Thought i did well navigating if i do say so my self
Only missed two lane entrances n not by much either. Alex u aint gonna stop us now fella every time we go out i'm gonna be on at ya to let us leed . Absolutely loved it. We ain't stopped talkin about that lane n stream crossin.
