Got my new recovery straps on order and hopefully should find some time to sort out the gearstick gaiter before then.
I also drink Port and I'm not ashamed to say it!

Sorry to just go off topic slightly then please guys, straight back to topic......

Dan, They will be similar lanes that I took you on when we were at Bala earlier in the year (around that location)

As for doing Devils pit.... not even if you have the best mud tyres on the market. It is a car killer. not because the obstacles are too severe, but because the water and mud is all clay based silt...There are no jet wash facilities on site and no garages around the area will allow 4x4's to use their jetwashes as it clogs the drains, so before you have made it half way home, your radiator and intercooler have turned into a brick and your head gasket has blown. You've got a nice motor there mate and I dont want to see it killed. You have been warned!!!!

This sounds great. Hopefully I will have bought my mates 2.3 TD by then which at least has off road tyres on. Would this be sutable as otherwise it is stock? Having said that I will not commit my name and take up someone elses place incase I haven't got it by then.
I trust other such newbie ride outs may be in the offing?

Hi i would like to attend, however, i do have a no longer have a Frontera as it died, but i do have a Pajero. I still would like to be considered. I have done the wayfarer with Huggy a few times but still a noobie, and not 100% confident.

Any advice or instruction would be 100% grateful, My truck is standard no mods.

Kev
BTW I have a CB fitted...

Thanks for putting me on the list, but I am afraid I now will not be able to make this run, so could you please offer it to another. Hopefully additional runs will take place in the future?
