I've watched this vid a couple of times in the past. The reason I was interested is that it doesn't look lifted and has a towbar that hangs low, just like my Trooper.
Now I can't understand why he had so much difficulty? He says he's in low range but I'm not so sure. Maybe he's just a crap driver :?

What do you think ? It encouraged me as mine is still standard like his but he still made it up (even though it took him ages)

Crap driver si as I have done strata about 10 times with a wide range of trucks. That's modified and standard.
Normaly half of the battle is getting your front wheels up the wall without smashing your bumper. Once you have your wheels up, a little bit of power/revs and most trucks get up without issue
Lwb trucks will normally drag there towbars a little on the way up and down

Thats a real shame that he has had to drop out. Can it not be welded up? Is it the usual sills, arches and boot? I know someone in North wales that welds them up for a very good price if he doesnt live too far away?
