I might sling a couple of muds in the boot for the rear just in case we get there and it needs them, though to be honest I have faith in the old girl. All we need now is a time and place!! p.s. I was talking about the Truck not the wife Fudge

To be honest careful driving and cleaver use of 4wd will get you out of most situations. Norfolk is flat as well so no silly mountains covered in mud to climb. AT's should cope well enough. Will be nice to see how well the Trooper copes in all honesty as all I have done so far is mud plugging round boggy fields where she did admirably.

Awesome. Would be cool if Fogman could come. I did thnk that 5 cars was the limit on these things. I will bring a load of tools and stuff for emergencies as well.
Oh and what time would be good to get to the Premier Inn?

Also, just a tip, if you are doing the lanes in Elveden Forest (as there aren't any that go through actual Thetford Forest) some of them are deep loose sand so deflate to about 22psi all round and keep speed down (its tempting to speed up as they are wide and straight) but you will lose control easily and them big trees never get out of the way.
Also, keeping yr speed down means you may see some of the majestic deer that inhabit that forest

Being thick as I am, are we meeting at the premier inn, or are we meeting at the picnic area at Barton Mills. I assume the picnic area is just off the roundabout.

barton mills picnic area: MAP and STREET VIEWOR Premier Inn Thetford: MAP and STREET VIEWI dont mind which we meet at....? which is best for you guys? Also the routes I have are around the "The Kings Forest" or if you look on google maps, its marked as "North Stow", but I think that might be a village within the forest lol. Its just south of Elveden. Dan
