Its a 3.5 hr drive for me, and December is pretty full at the moment, but if you sort one out in the new year count me in.

I will come up the night before and stay locally.

I like testing B&B breakfasts

Or more like the local tipple the night before

well lets organise a big pendle/burnley trip in Jan and a small recce out in dec this way the people who go on the recce can leave feedback for the other members who are interested in doing these greenlanes in jan, at least then it should generate more interest via other members in other countys i know of at least 4 B&B's and 3 campsite's, if there is enough interest i will look into trying to get discounts on these stay over places

The recce is a good idea. Feed back and pics are always a bonus.

Just remember that Sugarbabe & SolihullSteve have a meet planned in Jan also.

Best to stagger meets, so as to get the max possible attendance

Its a long way for many, and pennies are always tight, so a few weeks in between wont go a miss.

Plus, daylight will be longer, the later in the year the meet is :D

Dont go by my opinion, but as there is a meet already planned for Jan, i suspect you will get more interest mid / late Feb (but that is my opinion only)

Plus (selfishly), i will probably be able to afford to come as well.

As i said, my opinion only.

Look forward to your meet.

right chaps yesterday i did a recce on that green lane i chickened out on, i decided to walk it and lets put it this way it looks hard as it shows on the previous pic the start is all pebbles stones and rocks leading up a fair steep path petering out to soft shingle and dirt a bit further up it starts to get really boggy, i saw one landy get bogged down there and had to be winched out so its not for the faint hearted after the boggy part it declines down a bumpy and very narrow path which i attempted to ascend in the previous vid, i'd say all in all it would take a fair long time to get through, so driftwood and anyone else who fancies it, you up for doing this greenlane with me????
