Morning all, glad evryones back safe and rested.

Cracking pics folks, I only took a few of the stranded Range, Mr.Weave their group was 7 strong, it looks like Shropshire off road were out in big numbers that day. Strange as they were led by badged Crag members  The guy did admit to being in a group too big and under experienced but they had a camping weekend with limited leaders (a lesson we need to make sure we dont learn the hard way.)

As mentioned we started the car wash, which was the lowest I have seen and pushed on to the Wayfairer. As we were the diesel group we didnt have to wait for any power challenged petrols up the hill

For once the Wayfairer let the sun shine on us from the top so we sat for a bite and a chat at the top before running down to the village before the Witestones.

Sat by the toilets we met a group of 4x4's who had come out without a map, but knew the area fairly well. We had a good ten minutes and let them have a map from us so they wouldnt get lost. Plenty of banter, all good natured.

After a drink and a bite we ran up the whitestones, all nice and uneventful till the end where we met the group that was stuck. As they werent going to get that one out quick and the wildlife was eating us alive we smiled, waved and left them to retreat along the route we had come. Luckily Weaves rig got out to Doris's group and they held at the start of Whitestones so we could pass and re plan the route.

Next up was Splashy, not a beginners run, but the dry weather had tamed it sufficiently so we ran that before back over the Wayfairer.

It was a shame to find the guys we had given the map and than passed a couple of times off piste at the top and I did have to have words, but it didnt dampen the day and we ran two more lanes towards the Bala road before finishing in the carwash.

Great day, great company and looking foward to the next outing.

Excellent pictures, best one stuck oval thing!!

Looks like you all had a great day getting nice and dirty.

So who got stuck, or was it a 100% success for the Fronty?

hopefully I'll eventualy get all my little problems sorted out and will be able to join you all sometime.

TBH the stuck green oval mustve been a guy misbehaving as we did that climb in the snow without issues. He was back of the group, the slope is smooth slate with a side slope and a stream running down. If he was heavy on the right foot gravity would pull him sideways and do for him.
