Hi all i have just got back from morocco and have really got the bug for traveling and laning. I have been looking in to a weeks trip to Normandy in France for a weeks laning around that area. I thought I would put the feelers out to see if anyone else would be interested in joining me. I have spoken to Scott and he is keen to go. I am planning on going in September next year. I have done some maths regarding the trip to give you an idea of cost.
Ferry return for one truck and one person £90 Mileage from my house in worcestershire to the ferry and traveling to Normandy 450 miles. This would cost me two tanks of fuel to get there and get home. I would the budget for two further tanks of fuel for laning. The other cost would be campsites and food.
The laning in Normandy is meant to be very good with lovely country side views. Have a look on utube at 'Normandy laning France' and have a look. Let me know if your interested or have any questions etc.....
Thanks

Hi, maybe the interest could be raised for Englishmen to travel in a larger group to the continent, we can try organizing a small group of Germans at Normandy...?! I am interested as we save the money for the ferry.
Kind regards, Ian Sorry for my pigeonenglish. My doctor says I have to invest time in SPORT

Would this be camping at one site for the week or green laning from one site to other. if we can afford to come I would want to take the pod but don't fancy laning with the pod in tow. We would have the added expense of passports because we don't have any.

Andy I am currently looking at routes and was planning to operate from one campsite but will confirm shortly. I was thinking about going for 5 days with 3 days laning and two days exploring eg taking in the sights, shopping and exploring local city's. But this is up for discussion if people want to do more laning
