Corwen Carwash - 26/11/2006

Wow - did the Corwen Carwash today, the deepest I've ever seen it.

I was passenger in a Landrover 90 on over size tyres with a mild lift due to stiffer springs. The current forced us off line, but all three vehicles that opted to give it a go (another lifted 90 and a lifted Disco) managed with much jubilation.

The other two vehilces (2" lifted Suzuki and a standard Isuzu Bighorn) opted to bypass the ford and catch up with us later.

A cracking day out in the Autumn sunshine, covering 38 miles in 5½ hours.

OK, I know there was not a Frontera in the group (but does an Isuzu Bighorn count), but I though those of you who have done the carwash might like to see it in good flow.

Yes, we did the same route as the recce, with the exception of the steep slippery track up past the nice houses.

They thoroughly enjoyed it... I think by the time we got the the Wayfarer summit, one guy had taken 40 photographs.

Just rememberd, after the river crossing, we opend the doors to let out the water !!!

After seeing that vid cant get my fronty back on the road quick enough. Great footage.
I used to have an open mind but my brains kept falling out.
