Went over to Venture 4x4 yesterday, near Three holes ( wisbech way ).

It's a relatively small site, but boy was it a challenge  , after Devils Pit i thought i could go anywhere ...... well lets say Venture needs to be tackled with full off road tyres, winch, tow rope and shovel !

It had been raining during the night, sun was out when we got there, then started raining ...... there were some seriously deep ruts, a pond you can drive through, various slopes, bridges etc.
I had to be dragged out of a situation by a jacked up Range Rover Tdi

I wont be going back with my current set up ( 50/50 tyres ) during the winter ..... would be suicide

Also i heard a crack from underneath which i'm going to investigate :x
' Where we're going ... we don't need roads !'
