The Gap is closed in that season now I think :(

Saying that I did the easy peesy Wayfarer in the snow this year and we had some top modded trucks with us.......We got 50 yards into the 5 mile route  and had to back out, even the tarmac road was a challenge

Ooo, the Colley recovery - I'd forgotten about that

Also, big thanks to Alex...

At the top of "blown bridge" on the Gap Road, I got out of the car to shoot some video. On returning to the car, it would not start. Occasionally the dash lights would come on but would turn off as the engine fired, then the engine died. Bonnet up and Alex was straight in there, prodding and poking again.

Someone, cant recall who, spotted the interior light was on even though the dash lights were off, so Alex starts poking his fingers into the steering column adjustment hole and determines a loose wire.

With the steering cowl now removed, a loose connection in a chocolate block connector was found to be loose. Once tightened and fully insulated, the Sport has not missed a beat since.

Cheers Alex
