Just off to Farley quarry area now, hopefully to find a pub which can .....
A) Accomodate maybe 20+ Dirty trucks on there car park. B) Accomodate maybe 40+ Dirty, Cold, Wet, Thirsty, Hungry Frontera owners, partners, friends and children. C) Have an HAPPY HOUR of Buy On Get On Free on drinks. (Still need to sort out the second mortgage for the first round. O.K, "A" and "B" won't be a problem ....... I'll post details of the chosen pub later on.

Right folks.
After a trip to Farley and the area of Much Wenlock to find a pub to frequent afterward, unfortunately no suitable venue was found. One pub, which I won't name, after speaking to the manager was'nt too impressed on the thought of very MUDDY trucks and very MUDDY punters filling his very nice looking country pub & restaurant at a peak time on a sunday. So after careful thought and speaking to a few people we have decided that due to nearly all of the people who are attending will be using the M54 and M6 to get home it had been decided to return to the ....... SPREAD EAGLE PUB, just of junction 1 of the M54 on the A5. 5 minutes from junction 12 of the M6 Which is suitable for both north and south bound directions. As we have used this pub 4-5 times over the past 6 months for our Midlands Meets, we have found it to be suitable both for car parking and accomodating us. There is also good quality food available. I will supply printed directions on Sunday for those who don't know or are'nt sure where the pub is. I hope this is suitable to everyone.
That's what we thought. Most people need to head back to the M6 for either North or South bound, so It makes sense. Apologises to anyone who will be put out by travelling to the Spread Eagle. I still hope those who are inconvenienced will still try and attend.
i wont be happy if she stays clean this time mate ![]() SIZE DOES MATTER!! MEMBER 1728 1996 2.8 SWB called VIPER Members Ride section for VIPER Comments on VIPER here GET YOUR CARTOON CAR HERE

Trust me, you will still be finding mud on your drive everytime it rains for weeks after. Farley mud dries like concrete, a very light coloured mud, that takes ages to remove using a jet wash. Best to wet car first, put kettle on, have a cuppa, watch a bit a Jeremy Kyle or Trisha ( I dont watch them, honest
Where are you coming from mate, are you travelling from home or coming up the nightr before and staying at your parents? Us stokie's will be leaving Clayton at Junction 15, M6 at around 8.45am, passing the Spread Eagle pub at about 9.15am (junction 12, M6 on the A5), arriving at Farley around 9.35 - 9.40 am. If anyone does'nt know the way to Farley, we can arrange to meet you at The Spread Eagle Pub as stated above and you can join the convoy. If you do want to meet at the Pub then please let us know before Saturday.
Can anyone please tell me the best way to Farley from Hereford, like the shortest way

Are'nt sure about the distance factor, but I think the quickest way for time and ease would be .... M5 northbound onto the M6 at junction 8, then upto Junction 12 M6 coming off going left at the roundabout, along the A5 passing the pub (you could meet us there as detailed peviously) to Junction 1 of the M54 coming off at Junction 6, follow signed for ironbridge or follow directions in the link I posted on the first page. Someone may be able to find a quicker way.
woo you was quick in replying then i did not even have time to find a map out
anyway Thank you it dose look the quickest way for time and ease The only other way i can see maybe a shorter distance is to go up A49 then at craven arms go on B4368 then onto B4378 to much wenlock then onto A4169 (farley road) What dose anyone else think ? I Like this Truck of mine, just like me it's well run in it's not old just older.

If i'm not mistaken, thats the way BikerBarney goes to Farley. Might be worth a pm and try and arrange a meet up.
