when you check you SWR make sure the doors are shut as you do it
as it can affect your ground plane and through the reading's out

with 2 different CB's and 2 different arials, my reading i over 10 :S either the meter is fooked or my CB's are toast.

i have a mini springer on my roof that gives 1.5 on ch 1 and ch 40  and a 1.6m springer on my bull bars that gives 1:1  the swr nedle hardly moves at all on any channel

righto all booked - remember guys there is NO shower or toilet facility on site, only running water. Not sure which garages are nearby that are 24/7 and might have a thunderbox, will do a recce.
I think the old dear on the other end of the phone might be a bit miffed if we dug a hole in the middle of her field and took a dump in it, so be warned please!!
Going out later to drop off a deposit (no, not of the toilet kind!) to her, so if anyone wants a pitch whose name isn't down yet, you'll have to PM me.
