As the title says, I want to see if Google photos can support 3rd party image hosting. Makes sense seeing as I have an android phone and all. If anyone has any other alternatives let me know. So, a random image: Well that didn't work. Any suggestions peeps? Kind of inconvenient as I would have to go back through all my photos over the years and re-link them

Would be great if you could. Some of my old posts are useful to others I'm sure so would be good to be able to keep the pictures in the posts. It will be slow and take a while to change all the links and remember which photos go where but if they help others I'd be quite happy to slowly go through them.

You can always use the forum to host images which save having to upload somewhere then copy links etc. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=59829

The problem I have with the on site hosting is that most of my images are way to large. The image must be at least 0 pixels wide, 0 pixels high and at most 1024 pixels wide and 768 pixels high. The submitted image is 4320 pixels wide and 3240 pixels high.

Afraid not, still says most of my images are outside the parameters The image must be at least 0 pixels wide, 0 pixels high and at most 2048 pixels wide and 1024 pixels high. The submitted image is 4320 pixels wide and 3240 pixels high. It's not really the file size, the one it's saying is to big is only 3.55mb, it seems to be the resolution. If I compress them with picture manager it seems to work though IMG_0339comp2.jpg

Nice, I was always under the impression that we had to use 3rd party hosting as forum storage space was limited. Has that changed now?
