R.I.P Barrie (Mr Mud)It's my sad duty to inform you that Barrie, aka Mr Mud sadly passed away just before Christmas.
Barrie had been ill for some time and had been in and out of Hospital for a few months now but when I last spoke to him at the beginning of December he seemed very upbeat and was talking about some forthcoming physio to get him back on his feet again and looking forward to getting out of Hospital. Unfortunately having spoken to Barrie's nephew earlier today it would appear that he took an unexpected turn for the worse a couple of weeks ago which caused complications with his breathing that ultimately led to his death. Barrie was one of life's characters and had story's a plenty from his time working across the globe with several large multinational oil company's. Barrie had a true passion for cars and loved his Fronteras, lavishing far more money on the several he owned than most people would have ever considered but he always seem to love driving them and being involved with FOG. Barrie will be sadly missed by his family and all those that knew him. Rest In Peace mate.

Re: R.I.P Barrie (Mr Mud)Sorry to hear this sad news Mark
Thoughts are out to Barrie and his loved ones - R.I.P. Mr Mud Seems inappropriate to be asking at this moment in time Mark, but did we ever meet Barrie up the woods? Thinking of the guy that came up with you in the early woods and S.E. introduction laning day/s. Also when Paul, Steve and me came down to Slindon a couple of years or so back. Re: R.I.P Barrie (Mr Mud)
No Pete, the guy your thinking of is another of my mates who also oddly enough is called Pete but he's never actually signed up to FOG as he's not really a fan of Forums and the such like. Don't think Barrie ever ventured up to the woods although I believe he visited Robs (Rospicer) old workshop a few times to collect various bits and pieces and could often be found drinking coffee in my workshop / garage.
Re: R.I.P Barrie (Mr Mud)OK Mark
