brake bias valve (load sensor)

Postby colin all on Tue Feb 26, 2008 10:54 pm

can anyone help me. I'm trying to work out if the load sensor is working or not, as you look at the valve itself the lever is pulled all the way towards the axle, is it actually pushed out (away) from the rear axle when under braking, bit difficult to check this myself (billy no mates) any help would be appreciated.

thanks

If your brakes lock up, you could have a problem, do the brakes feel normal ?

In that case it seems to be working fine, the bias valve sences the load on the rear axle and adjust the brake pressure acordingly.
